Well i'm running my 89 custom Tow tune with a tank of 93 right now... Let me tell you, this truck stands up at stop lights now! It pulls hard at 1/4 throttle and the motors running like a clock... I am genuinely impressed with the custom tow tune over the canned tow tune.... It is like night and FUEUR!IN day!

My MPGs on up hill starts are double from 3 to 6 MPGs on very easy throttle application.

I'm putting a new tranny in my girls car today so I will update again once I get her ford focus buttoned back up....

Well guys I decided to take a short workday and update my Fusion software.... I have about 20 minutes left and guess who calls me? Bill himself to let me know that my custom tunes are uploaded and once I have my update complete to reconnect my device and boom I'll have 3 new custom tunes installed!! I'm so stoked right now it's not even funny! I'll let you guys know how they are in just a bit....

All I can say is WOW! I've been using the canned 87 but to update the CTS had to program back to stock... drove across town stock pulled over and uploaded the new Custom 87 Performance and hot damn this thing moves now! The throttle response and shift points are outrageous I love it! Can't wait to try the custom 91 Performance and custom 87 Tow that I got also!

Well, my truck Honks ***! I haven't tried my 87 or 93 performance tunes yet, because I am still loving this 89 tow tune...

Throttle response is very sensitive now. I almost drove into the drive through window at Dunkin Donuts trying to get my ice coffee. (it's very touchy)
Shifting feels much more easier going yet firmer then the canned tune. It doesn't kick as hard as it used to and the shift points are perfect. The shifting and shift pressure all in all I would say is now perfect...
Acceleration from a dead stop breaks my 20" rims and 33" tires loose with a little more then half throttle. On dry pavement!
Highway on ramps and 30 to 70 mph launches are smooth as glass when shifting and loaded with torque. Lane changing gives anybody next to me the appearance of standing still.

My heavy *** screw finally has some serious punch! My truck is also full of tools weighing in at about 600lbs + a full tank of gas.

The truck also has a bit of a deeper exhaust tone when gassing it hard, and the drone from my Volant CAI sounds much cleaner and meaner when roasting or coasting passed 2000 RPMs.

PHP is cooking with methane today and they definitely gave me a great customer experience... Bill hopped right on the phone and answered all 200 of my questions and certainly calmed my anxiously annoyed demeanor that was building.

In conclusion, I'm extremely pleased and seriously impressed with the difference between custom over canned tuning. I highly recommend anybody contemplating a custom tune to just do it! The difference is even greater then I had ever hoped...
Kudos to PHP for making it easy to get through today on the phone lines... I sure hope they can keep this momentum up.....
