Anybody have any experience with the Hypertech Max Energy performance tuner or any other programmers? Are these bit buckets worth the money or are they just hype?

 

Edge and SCT are worth it. I wouldnt consider the Hypertech/Jet/Diablo. Just my opinion. I have the Edge Evolution and the SCT seems to be the Mustang owners choice programmer.

Yep, the general consensus will be Edge or SCT

 

Def go with either SCT or Edge.

Remember when looking all the different models too, the tunes themselves will be the same between different models, just go with which one you like the looks, features and budget of. ( gauges, no guages, touch screen, not touchscreen, ect ect )

for sure the edge. I just went with a cts. no custom tunes, just the canned ones. I will tell you that it is the best thing I have ever done to my truck. It is amazing how much better the truck is. I actually picked up a good 2-3 MPG as well. I have heard great things about the custom guys as well mentioned above.

 

Nope, sure dont. PHP is only one still actively doing that for Edge from what I've heard on the forum but I haven't really looked into it either lately.
