I Have an Edge CS. I prefer buttons over touch-screen but that's just my preference. I've had experience with Superchips as well, I like the Edge better.

I just cant see how PHP can tune better that what we can adjust on an Edge Evolutions "custom settings" on level 2 or 3. I sent them 2 emails asking if they can improve on my 0-60 time of 6.3 seconds and my 1/4 mile time of 15 seconds flat and I would purchase from them......never heard back. But when I asked about how to download Pegasus software, they responded in 8 hours....I have a feeling they cant tune any better that the custom settings, just my opinion. I have heard Bill is a great guy, but its not worth it to pay for what I can already do.

There is a lot more too it than just custom settings. I'm sure bill can access a lot more data and tune according, vs the adjust and guess game with custom settings. Can you tell if you're leaning out on the top end in your tune? I'm just giving examples, they can data log and adjust fuel mapping to fit the needs of the engine. I do not have a custom tune yet, but I will purchase one soon.

I have adjusted and guessed about 40 times, I have it dialed it. They can not adjust better that what i have, or they would have told me when I emailed them, twice. It may be better than what I have, but $60 per custom tune, I doubt its worth that. I can pull a camper and boat a lot better than my father in law can with his 2010 5.4 with the same gears (same camper and boat, we co-own), thats good enough for me. I am not ******* PHP, but if they can do better for me than I can do, why didnt they tell me?

X2, a helluva lot more then just pushing buttons and hoping for the best. Plus, he understands what the hell all of that means and why. IF I remember correctly, Bill worked for Edge writing their tunes before he went out on his own, someone correct me if I am wrong, please.

I have a 2005 Ford F150 with a 5.4L Triton. Lookin for something to give me extra power and mileage when pullin my 24ft travel trailer. Is anyone using the programmers mentioned on a stock vehicle? I called a couple of local dealers and they both told me that without mods like a cold air intake and/or a performance muffler, I'm wastin my money. Maybe their just tryin to sell me stuff......

Those dealers are trying to sell CAI's.
I have Edge Evo on otherwise stock truck. Big improvement in power, torque and shifting. It runs like a completely different vehicle.
More MPG - nothing I could measure.

I found an Edge Evo I'm looking to buy, actually off of the classified on here. They just come with canned tunes right? I'm running 35s right now.. the previous owner lifted it himself but didn't do the gears. Will the tuner assist in that in anyway?
