Default need help please

Ok so here is my problem and i dont know what i should do, so i need your help! I have a 2004 f150 fx4, with k&n cai, flowmaster exhaust and edge tuner. 2 dc power 290amp alternators, MLA module, 5 batteries and more. My front battery died on me a while back, right before the front battery died the vod module which is normally behind the rear seats it started making a clicking noise and the truck wouldnt start (i didnt have the other batteries in at this time). So i replaced the front battery, put in all the other batteries and charged the up. They are sitting at 13.2v (resting voltage) and i have power to other accesories i added (radar detector, volt meter, multiple amps, various leds and so on) and they all work. Everything is connected to the front battery the same way it was before but i get no electrical voltage inside. No power to the windows, keyless remote, no instrument lights and the truck wont start. I checked various fuses i thought could be the problem and all were good. I read that the maf and tb could be grimy but i doubt that would explain why im not getting power to the things inside. Can anyone help please? I need to get it fixed and going again. Thanks everyone that helps

Sounds like you may have blown the fuseable link, or cooked a relay.

There is 5 batteries and the 2 big alternators and all the other stuff because i draw over 1000 amps of current when i do my audio competitions. Tbh i need more batteries but that will come later, right now i just need to get it running again! The vod module makes no sound anymore, and nothing factory electrical works.

If i blew a fusable link or relay what should i check? I looked at all the fuses i thought could be the problem. There are some fuses under the hood near the driver fender but im not sure if those could be a problem or not.

There are 3 fusable links, by the "stock" battery location. One runs from the battery to the "stock" alternator (Ford actually refers to this as a generator still), another runs from the battery to the fuse panel as the main fuse panel lead, and the other I believe runs to the starter. These are basically large fuses to protect these three circuits since they are not protected by a fuse at this point.

If one of these is suspect as open, I'd go for the one that runs from the battery to the fuse panel first. They can be identified as having a square type cover over them. Use an volt/ohm meter to check if one or more is open. Disconnect the red positice connector from the battery that feeds the trucks "normal" circuits (whichever that one is out of the 5 you have!).

You can call the Ford dealership, as the above post indicates, but I would actually start at a stereo shop. The reason I say this is because your issue is attributable to the extra draw from your audio system and not a "Ford Mechanical" issue per se.

The guys at reputable stereo shops and ones that design custom and competition systems will have a more intricate knowledge of the components and where failure is occuring.

If you have multiple batteries and clicking is coming from one (low charge), then the power draw may be disproportionate and/or your alternator cannot keep that many batteries at normal operating specs [cold crank]. Are you running the stock alternator?
