Damn...so it's not just me who thinks there's a goth movement coming through this forum! Black out everything on here lately, people spraying over chrome bumpers, rims and even appliying bedliner to their rockers....etc

I've had DDMtuning 55W headlight bulbs and 35w fogs for years...love them. I aimed them down slightly and rarely get highbeamed. When and if I do and I flash them my highs....they get the point quick!

Bying ricer looking headlights for the silly ebay projectors isn't going to net you much better performance. You must implement higher quality projectors designed for HID, and in our case they must be bixenon. The proper projectors are FAR superior to the factory lighting and even further superior to the blue glaring drop-in kits that some of you have invested in. I've use it all: Silverstars, PnP HID, and Retro-Fit. There is simply no comparison: the retro-fit performs 100x better than the silly drop-ins, looks a ton better (no ricer glare, razor sharp cutoff), and is far safer. Don't knock it until you've tried it; once you drive behind some high quality projectors that completely illuminate 5 lanes wide on the freeway, you will never go back.

Ain't that the truth.

So its all about looks? lol I just don't get. Glare does NOT look cool. You get the attention of ricers going by and thats about it. Projectors look far better from the driver's seat. Unlike any of you, I've used both types of HID and can speak from experience.

Really? So have I, dummy. I drive a 2008 Nissan Maxima every now and then. Also have driven a Kenworth T660 with projector beams and factory HIDs. I'm well aware of all kind of HID technologies.

You guys complaining are just big ******.

Uh, the difference is the manufacturers know the proper way to install them.

HID itself is not the problem.

HID lighting is a great lighting system which is more efficient than Halogen lighting. The difference here is your stock HID bulbs are placed in assemblies that are designed for the HID bulb.

The people here are just taking HID bulbs and placing them inside assemblies that are designed for halogen bulbs which are physically different. Therefore causing the problems in which we have brought up several times. Some people are just too self centered to think about others.

I know all that... I have HIDs in my pickup too. The complainers are just ******, like I just said.

But whatever, I do care more about my vision though. Self-centered, sure, fine with me.

Go with Jon's hids. I've used plenty of kits and his are some of the best quality I've seen! I went 6k hi/low and 6k fogs. I'd recommend nothing over 6000 if you need help seeing at night.

X2 great guy with a great product.

Projectors are the ****, do I have them? No, not yet.

My hids work great and I don't have the cash to upgrade yet. And I get flashed less with my hids than when I had filterstars.

And those of you who don't flash ppl with improper hids, how will they know they need to reaim them?

They won't care. As evidenced by the responses in this thread, they'll just take it as a stroke for their ego and move on.

If they don't give a damn about putting them in and blinding people in the first place, they aren't going to give a damn if I flash them. Besides, flashing someone on the road just irritates the other people who have done nothing.

I said it once, I'll say it again. Narcissistic idiots.
