You could also try the code ES123 at ADAP. It will get you $20 off every $50 purchase (best deal), and $30 off $100. Buy online and pickup in store.

For what it's worth most any gasket on the supercharger can be done away with and replaced with rtv black silicone. Perhaps that will help but I'm still curious what part you're talking about.

Ahh I see. You're talking about the intercooler assembly. Yes if you have any doubts about the gasket in this area or others use a black rtv silicone. When Stiegmeyer gets a blower and puts it back together this what they use and it's what Whipple reccomends.

Some of today's arrivals:

But not that easy....

I was sitting in the basement, I hear a rustle on the steps, figure it was one of the neighbor kids coming to play with my daughter or the newspaper.

About 30min later, roommate goes outside and there is a door tag. WTF? Really? No one knocked otherwise the dogs would have gone crazy.

So, I grab the door tag and go for a drive, and call the number on the door tag. I get someone in customer service and explain the situation. "I'm sorry but the next delivery attempt is Tuesday" No, i say, that isn't an option, the driver did not knock on the door, I would like my items today. "sorry, we do not do reattempts on the same day", I come back with "your drivers don't knock either, can I get someone higher up on the food chain?" What does that mean she says...

I get the supervisor on the phone, explain the situation, and then also mention this is not the first time this has happened, explain to them I would like my items today and will meet at a gas station if need be. He tells me they do not do re-delivery attempts, I explain that I have 2 dogs, if she had legitimately brought the boxes to the door, the dogs would have gone wild. I also remind him there are 3 boxes at 140# total. There is a pause he says there is no reason they would want to redeliver, and then says he will call dispatch He calls dispatch, and then dispatch calls me to explain they will be back in 10-15min.

The lady comes back, I swear, dumber that ****. She comes to the door with just the thing you sign, no boxes. I sign for the packages and she dumps them in the driveway. Really...

Congratulations! If I wasn't in such desperate need of dental work I'd have a Whipple myself!

I wanted the whipple, but...compare the price(50% less) and the nice thing about the roots is instant power/tq. Can't beat it.

The twin screws also offer off idle boost and instant torque. So much in fact I spin my rims inside my drag slicks. There's no comparision between the two. The twin screw will make boost from idle to redline without the parstatic losses and heat soak issues of the Eaton. The Eaton begins to give up right around 4500 rpm. However they are at a heck of discount right now which makes them very appealing. Vendors are clearing them out and once they are gone thats it. It's a great choice to give the truck some kick.

BTW if a person wants to take advantage of the lower rpm power from the Roush blower you will need a custom tune. The Roush uses an electronic bypass valve which uses the trucks intake manifold runner control for a signal. This is the signal that opens the secondary butterflies in the stock intake at around 3500rpm. So to get ful boost from the Roush below this mark you need a custom tune that changes this signal to a lower rpm. Not to mention there are tons of other benfits to a custom tune. This is just an expample of one. By comparison the other blowers use a vaccum controlled bypass which allows boost to come in based upon engine load and throttle position. The Roush blowers electric bypass can be tailored in the tune to provide boost at any rpm or engine load as well. Scobar got a great deal and he is gonna have a fun truck here shortly.

Watch my top gauge (vac/boost gauge) in this video and you will see full boost is instantanous from idle.
