Ford Emblems corroding

I've seen it on older models. Can't say I've seen it on 04-08's though...
There's several companies that make reproduction emblems. I think I'd look at the local junkyards or call the stealership...

Could be a problem with the newer emblems. I have an 04 emblem on the front of my 2002. I put it on there back in 04 and it's like new still. Same thing for my 06. The 06 never gets washed that often and the emblems still look new.
May have something to do with regions. I'm in the south. Road salt, snow etc may be causing this.

My '06 has water damage inside the oval... back one got hit right on the oval with a trailer tongue and is damaged - I need to replace both.
Would like to find a company that puts differnent things inside the oval... life Roush or something similar.

Go to Billetbadges.com and get some custom aluminum ones made. Steve does a great job and has a LOT of examples of what he's done on his website. Its sad that the damn oval, of all things on these trucks, don't even last....
Heres an example of what Steve does. He does this with the ovals too.....very nice work....
