Ford Emblems corroding

Default Ford Emblems corroding

Has anyone else had issues with their Ford Emblems corroding? If so, where can I pick up replacements?

I've seen it on older models. Can't say I've seen it on 04-08's though...

There's several companies that make reproduction emblems. I think I'd look at the local junkyards or call the stealership...

my front egg is chipped and faded looking. it's an 07 xlt

Could be a problem with the newer emblems. I have an 04 emblem on the front of my 2002. I put it on there back in 04 and it's like new still. Same thing for my 06. The 06 never gets washed that often and the emblems still look new.

May have something to do with regions. I'm in the south. Road salt, snow etc may be causing this.

My '06 has water damage inside the oval... back one got hit right on the oval with a trailer tongue and is damaged - I need to replace both.
Would like to find a company that puts differnent things inside the oval... life Roush or something similar.

I had the same problem with my 07 XLT front emblem and I brought it to the dealer and they replaced it for free under warranty.

Here are a few pics of the emblems on my truck. Does anyone know where I can pick two of them up?? My truck is not under warrenty anymore.

happened to my front logo... i didn't replace it... i just chipped off the enamel that bubbling, and painted the blue black because the blue looked purple

Go to Billetbadges.com and get some custom aluminum ones made. Steve does a great job and has a LOT of examples of what he's done on his website. Its sad that the damn oval, of all things on these trucks, don't even last....


Heres an example of what Steve does. He does this with the ovals too.....very nice work....
