I,m having my front and rear Ford emblem replaced through a dealership. The front got pretty bad quick and the rear is starting to go baD (first time I have seen the rear emblem do this). The outside layer is actually blistering.

Mine were terrible.

I took it off, it came of quite easily with 2 nuts and a little careful prying with a couple of screwdrivers.

I took it to a local Sign shop and went with the subdued look. Black oval with grey lettering. It looks cool as the black is reflective and glows silver when the light hits it just right.

I wanted to go with a black oval and a silver punisher skull but my wife would not go for it. My thoughts were why advertise for Ford if they won't replace their poor quality items.

Cheap, easy and unique.

You can get them on ebay for about $37 shipped. I bought one from ebay to replace the front. For the back i was waiting, until one day i say one in autozone that lit up with the tail lights/brakes. Looks OEM until you hit the brakes. It was $39 and looks awesome and unique. They are made by reese towpower (sp?)

Default F150 Emblems

I have the same problem on my 07 F150. Emblems look like they are 100 years old. Both front and back are bad. Bubbling and peeling, you name it. It's too bad I have to spend 32K on a truck and they put garbage emblems on them. Otherwise I love the truck. I am going to go to billetbadges and see what they can make for me.
