Go with the Edge, you wont be disappointed. Plus it has a towing setting for when your pulling the toys. Most others are just tuners while the Edge is that plus a continuous monitor of the truck system also. Plus it looks pretty cool...haha.

If you plan on continuing to modify your truck (especially an A/M intake on a 5.4L, 2004), do NOT buy an Edge unless you plan on converting it to a Gryphon and getting custom tunes.

Read these and then decide:

If that's not enough reading - try the search feature. There are hundreds of posts on intakes, programmers, custom tunes, canned tunes, etc.

that is not custom tunes. custom tunes by a tuner will blow the hypertech away!

i dont have custom tunes yet but i used to have a superchip, for the price custom tunes are the best, VMP troyer and PHP all have good tuners and tunes for around the same price

I'm just curious shotgun why do you dislike edge evolutions and canned tunes so much. I personaly love mine and most people who have them do but I always see you putting them down. Im just wondering what your reasoning is. Thanks
