- Faulty Throttle actuator control
- Throttle actuator control motor harness is open or shorted

So I had to clear the code to get into town. Cause I wasn't going to limp mode it in we put it on the computer and it had a irregular volt signal so either way I'm buying a new one. Trucks are like hookers with age and mileage things were not to mention rode hard and put up wet lol oh I guess its more common of a problem than I thought.

So today when I punched it to pass a car it down shifted really quick but shifted hard into second. Is this normal? Also it shifted higher than what I had the custom tune put at.

Depends on how high your shift firmness is. Mine shifts super hard and I like it that way. Firmer shifts are better for your transmission (too a point) these new transmissions nowadays shift incredibly soft for comfort of the occupants.

It can shift higher than what you set it, this is why you have to set your rev limiter at least 150rpm above your highest WOT Shift point. I can't tell you why it does it, but it is normal.

Every transmission is a little different. If you think it's shifting too hard just turn the shift firmness down a smidge. Every now and then mine will shift harder than normal.
