Are your gears entered right? What about tire size? If either of those 2 are not correct on the Edge, it will be off. Even so, I always trust a hand calculation over a piece of electronics.

I do have p255 tires on my truck which I don't think are the stock size. I did do the calculation for the tires though for the right size. My gears are 3.73. I have the 2004 FX4. Should it be that off though?

So the gear size on the Edge matches what is on the door jamb sticker? What size are your tires? The full size? What mm did you enter?

I don't know off the top of my head but I'm pretty sure the FX4 that year only had 3.73 gears. My tire size is p255 70 17.

2478 mm is what should be used for tire diameter. You axle code is easy to find on your door jamb. Make sure the Edge and it match up and you are fine.

19 3.55 Non-LS
18 3.08 Non-LS
H9 3.55 LS
B6 3.73 LS

So most likely B6

Hey all, can anyone recommend some tunes I can throw into my truck that may be better than the tow lvl 2..

I have a 2006 5.4L 2WD Supercrew, running 35" tires, K&N CAI, stock rear diff (for now).. basically what I may be looking for is more low-end torque and firmer shift points.. seems like the first few gears rev high when going to shift to the next when WOT, I let off the pedal a little bit based on feel so it doesn't rev high like that to hit the next shift when gunning it.. but I want an even quicker reaction or firmer shift from gear to gear. How would I go about that? I really do need to re-gear.. but I am trying to by my time till I throw 37's on. Thanks!
