Default eFan conversion talk

So i did some research i found 2 helpful threads

This One That One

Im going to try to get some input, something I might look into doing this summer.. The stock thermostat from AAP stock it 195*F while optional is 180*F. 2 e-Fans doing 2500 CFM each.

So this was discussed on another forum I was part of, Explorers.. Was wondering if same method would be right for our f150 5.4s.

Can we use a universal screw in thermostat kit? (i dont like the probe idea) Buy extra piece of Hose with same ID and OD that fits the Heater core hoses, make a flow T then screw in this part (pic below) or use a kit like this (2nd link) which is adjustable.

Thought about a 200 On 185 Off.

Thoughts?

lol yea be easier way of saying it.. i rather not do the probe rather have something a little better.. so screw in trigger not probe..

also i guess i would have to worry about a/c running, doesnt the fans run the whole time a/c on?

Ah you dont have a controller? You want a thermostat switch to turn the fans on / off?

i guess with a little more research ill have to use an adjuster, ill use the one i found at summit, it has the a/c option in it and all wiring plus the threaded style instead of the probe...

so i got that figured out... here comes the main questions..

where would i thread this? (I can make some adapters)

Heater Core line?
Radiator hose?

as soon as i figure out the best/easiest place for a threaded probe ill be able to do this for under 150.00 and thats making brackets, fans, wiring.
