6 inch lift help!
The 4x4 knuckles have a different outer hub bearing, it requires the CV shaft to be installed and the nut tightened. The 2wd uses a spindle, bearing and rotor method, completely different.
The stock knuckles will not reach the upper ball joints, hence calling Procomp to see if you can retrofit a larger spindle type knuckle from their 2wd kit on the 4x4 kit. Call Procomp and tell them you are trying to install the 4x4 kit onto a 2wd truck, I believe that is possible provided they have a knuckle that can adapt.
The drop brackets should work, everything else should fit.

I dont think thats a pro comp kit...the front crossmember on the pro comp kit is just a bar straight across...this looks more like RCX...Nonetheless Jerhelo is right about the spindle part being different...Twitty you find out anymore info?

PROCOMP.... LOL....Hard to tell from the photo but looks like one to me. I think the retrofit will be challenging but not impossible....
No shot..haha. Its most def not pro comp unless its an older version of pro comps kit. Pro comps kit has a straight crossmember up front. Look at a front view picture of someones truck with pro comp; straight across. It doesnrt fit the contours of the stock crossmember like RCX, Fabtech, or BDS's does. I dont know if you are on a computer (pictures are bigger), but in the picture Twitty put up you can see daylight under the front crossmember and pro comps doesnt have holes in theres up front like that in the crossmember.
I dont care who is right or wrong, I just dont think thats a pro comp at all. haha. Whatever, I hope that you can make this kit fit though. That would be pretty sweet and im sure people will use this in the future.
Jerhelo, hows the ride now with the 3" body lift? Any different?
