Default X plan pin

Hi everyone! I was able to use an x plan pin in 2010 to purchase a F150 Lariat with the help of a memeber here. I am now looking to buy the wife a ford as well and was hoping i could get in touch with someone and use the xplan again. If anyone is willing to help me with a pin i would greatly appreciate it

I was recently shopping with X-Plan, and while it is a pretty good deal, I agree that you can do quite a bit better without really trying. A couple of Internet managers beat it hands down without me even mentioning it. Pick your vehicle, request quotes through edmunds or another site, and watch the deals come in.

tyler... PM me if you still need x-plan pin. X-plan is two percent above dealer cost. Not many dealers willing to sell at cost. I just check autotrader for the best price and then checked my AXZ-plan web site. On the truck I priced, sticker was 34,505.00 Autotrader quoted 32,518.00 as a fair price to pay, X-plan 31,526.00. I've been buying AXZ plan for 30+ years and like the fact that I don't have to hassle with the dealer. They show you the X-plan price up front, and that the price you pay.

I've had 10 x plans in the past month. I haven't had to use a pin # yet because we do better than x plan on almost every deal.

Yup. X-plan pricing is pretty average at best. Truecar.com will almost always be better if you want zero hassle.

But if you really do want X-plan, and don't want to have to 'beg' for a pin, go buy a share or two of Ford stock (NYSE: F, a whopping $11.75 a share). You can then get your own Ford X-plan pins.

i used the x plan to by my 2002 Lariat and beat the best price by $1,000. A whole different story for my 2010 Lariat. I ordered and had it built and beat the x plan by a little over $5,000 by just walking in the door of another dealer and asked for their best price and they also gave me $3,000 more for my trade in the the dealer that gave me the X plan price .

X Plan in most cases also puts a cap on documentation fees which is something the dealer can sock you with.
