I hung rigid D2's {floods} and just drilled holes in the bottom far edges of my hitch frame. works great and looks good. just make sure to aim them down, they're the brightest thing on the planet.

had issues with the lights installed. The power from the lights fell out of the scotch lock. Fixed and holy crap these lights are bright as hell. It is nice seeing the rearview camera actually display things at night.

How do you like those lights? I have a set up just like you with the light bar mount, but I have LED light bars. I have a set of the same round lights you have, but have not installed them. You have any pics of the lights output at night?

Thanks.

Default Same install as some of the members here....

I flush mounted a couple of the LED lights in my rear bumper. Just remember to measure twice (or more) and cut once. The metal for the factory rear bumpers is a joke and pretty easy to drill through and cut. I wired the lights to the center wire of the trailer plug so they automatically turn on when put in reverse. These lights make a big difference in light output compared to the factory reverse bulbs. I plan on getting an aftermarket bumper, and I will do this simple mod with the new bumper.

Got my Blazers in the mail today. One for me, another for my son. (stocking stuffer) Easy install. Just plug it in. I ran a wrap of tape around so it hopefully won't fall out running gravel roads. I'll see if it adds to the light thrown by the JDMastars next time I'm out after dark.

I just installed the JDM ASTAR 1000 Lumen bulbs. For $25 I'm pretty happy with them. I made a video of the install, plus some before and after shots. Here it is if you're interested:

Default Wanting something brighter?

I have JDM ASTAR Super Bright AX-2835 Chipsets 3056 3156 3057 3157 LED Bulbs ,Xenon White for backup lights (https://www.amazon.com/JDM-ASTAR-Bri...VZ7VT7CDHWPTZC) plus I wired in a pair of 4'' ROUND DUAL REVOLUTION RED & WHITE STT/REVERSE COMBO LIGHT (http://www.raneystruckparts.com/4-ro...e-combo-light/) under the bumper in single mount stainless steel brackets (from Amazon).

I can light up in reverse as bright as with the headlights going forward.

I also have LED front turn signal/marker lights and a pair of Spyder LED taillights with a clear lens.

Newest update. Bought some $32 (for a pair), 35W LED light bars for reverse lights.

About 1 hour to mount and wire them up and I can see as good in reverse as I can forward. Main problem solved was backing out of sidecuts after dark and back onto fire break roads when hunting. Hard to tell where the dirt road and dirt forest stop/start. No more problems now.
