I have some led bulbs with a mini projector that did marginally ok, now I have 2 pods mounted under the bumper that work much better. I plan on doing a flush mount in the bumper but that's been a project 2 years in the making

Did you add a separate switch for these or where did you tap power from?

Out of curiosity, would an infrared emitter work with our cameras? The type used for security cameras. I tried finding specs for the camera ford uses....no luck.

I'm sure that it will be fine with an 850nm IR emitter. Worst case you get it, it doesn't illuminate, you get an 880nm or 940nm and test it further.
