I think after wiring my pods into the trailer wiring harness my truck thinks I'm pulling a trailer and automatically shuts off my reverse sensing system

I have heard this happening with others but I do not have this issue. I assume it must pick up on the amperage draw.

My lights say 1.13 amps per light.

I'm switching from under the bumper LEDs to flush mount 18w LEDs. Got one installed tonight and will finish up the other in AM and wire them up. Really wasn't going to do it but having SGM paint the black looks pretty good and will give better light than under bumper.

I'm having it looked at on Monday morning to see if there's just something wrong with it or not

Plus the Rigid's came with a thick foam seal that goes between the light and the bumper before mounting.
Mine look almost factory in my humble opinion.
I do prefer the more rectangle style LED's to the square cube style...but that is just a personal preference.
I even used the SRQ'2's vs the cube for my hood mounted LED's

Cutting holes---fun stuff

SRQ2 Rigid Lights

They look great, you did a good job. I personally like those Rigid SRQ-2's too. I'm going to purchase the diffused ones for the the rear flush mount and probably the cubes for the front but I might switch to the rectangular one for those too, not sure yet. Did you get the diffused ones for the rears? Which ones for the front, wide, spot, flood? Any night pictures of those?

I used diffused for the rear for more light broadcast. I had the cubes first in the back that were spot and they made two very bright hot spots in my reverse camera. The diffused works just like I wanted, like a large area flood light in the back of my truck.

The SRQ-2's on the hood hinges are the flood version. I have a single 30" LED bar in the center of the grill to give me distance and brightness.
The hood mounted lights I have facing off to each side to light up the sides of the road and ditches, so essentially they only compliment the 30" LED light bar and give me a wider spread overall in the front of the truck.

Factory HID's only, no Rigids

Rigid LED's activated with the factory brights.

These are the only pics I have at the moment which don't really highlight the side brightness.. I need to try and get some on a country road to show how much I can now see the road and both sides of the road very clearly.

As a side note these NEVER get used near traffic, only on backroads when out in the boonies. I'm not a fan of running LED's in the city or hwy whether day or night as I think it makes you look like a D-bag... Mine are strictly for function when hunting and country driving.

Nice, couldn't agree more on when they should be used. Can't wait to see the outside pics. The explanation of the rear diffused ones is what I was hoping they would look like, thanks!

Here is the diffused light throw in the rear in case you missed it earlier.

SRQ2 Diffused reverse lights flush mounted in bumper.... Bent pole was pre-LED install haha. I actually removed the poll and set it 2 feet farther out.

I have a set of cubes on my table and will be doing the deed this weekend. I'm flush mounting them to the bumper so cutting is going to happen. I have a angle grinder with a cutoff wheel. Let my hands be still and skilled.

I'm wondering if I can run off the existing relay I have for the front light setup I have and install another switch in the cab? I wouldn't ever run them at the same time so I'm assuming this would be perfectly okay......???? Right????

Here's what's on the front
