My camera looks as if it's daytime.
Funny I stumbled across this thread the other day, right after my wife was commenting on how at night it's so hard to use the backup camera when you're not in a well lit area (not to mention that it's not easy to see in the side view or rear view mirrors w/ the tint on the windows)...

Anyway, I ordered a set of these bulbs, which were delivered to my house today. I'll have to report back in a day or so when I get a chance to see how much good they do compared to little factory bulbs that are there now.

I made brackets out of stainless that I screwed to the front side(front of my truck)of my hitch and mounted the cubes to those brackets. That way they are tucked up underneath, and towards the center of my truck so rocks and mud dont kick up off my tires into the back of my cubes. Hopefully that might make them last a bit longer. I'll post pictures if anyone wants to see my setup.

How is the view out of the mirrors?

Edit: never mind, I'll know Wednesday. Was making an Amazon purchase anyways so went ahead and ordered a set.

I've had Kawell 18 watt 6 LED lights on the rear for a couple years now and one recently went out. I was going to just get another but things have come a long way in two years so I picked this up for $28 from Amazon.

I'll look at centering it and if not it will go on driver side and other on passenger. I'm mounting it where I've mounted the other off the spring shackle.

So I picked up some LED reverse lights similar to what is linked above to fit in the stock housing. It helped, but still not by much. The first picture where you can see my yellow step ladder is simply the aftermarket LED reverse bulbs being on.

The second picture where you can see that my driveway needs to be recoated, is after I installed Nilight flush mounted reverse lights. It took around 2-3 hours to install, but mostly because I was so hesitant to cut into the bumper and measured and re-measured around 1,000 times while I was cutting.

I would save your money and get a pair of flush mounted lights for the bumper, or a set of cubes to mount below the bumper. They will put to so much more light than anything in the stock fixture.

Would you be so kind to take a picture and post it of the light housing installed on the top side of the license plate?

I have the lights. I just need to get cutting. I plan on painting my bumper down the road so if I overcut I will take care of it then.

Heres mine. Dual exhaust is in the way for under the bumper and spring shackle mount. Link didn't work before.
