Mine work perfectly. Cheap lights, not exactly happy with the color, but they are only on for reverse. Attached under the bumper in existing holes, I think 16awg wire. Tapped into the trailer harness for both wires, zero problems for sensors.

They will hyperflash on these trucks, but with certain years 12+(?) you can disable it through forscan.

I know this is all about reverse lights and I cannot criticize JDM's. I use them in my cargo light(it's the raptor, so nothing else to swap out).
I will add quickly and sorry no link, but there's one more option that I think are great bulbs.
That's Aaron's LED amber and red directional's. They are a quality bulb, bright as hell and what I've found to be an issue with some cheapies, is when other's are running at night the blinking aspect will be minimal.
During the day they turn on & off just fine, but when they're running already, it's hard to tell they're even blinking.

At one point I also had a drawer in my toolbox with probably 5-10 of every bulb, from halogen to Led's that didn't make the cut.
I've given most away now so I didn't have to constantly look at my wasted money.
I'm also using Aaron's resistors. It's only been a year, but they're performing good as new still.

Happy to do it! It's fun to do research like this. That box is just the tip of the iceberg. That's just my "travel kit."

Also, I believe that the geometry of the bulb and the angles in which the light is focused on the reflectors plays a big part in just how well the bulbs perform. One thing I really like on the iJDMtoy's is that they have rear-facing diodes that reflect off what I call the "golf tee" portion of the bulb and strike the lens reflectors very efficiently.

This is why I'm really anxious to compare them to the JDMastar's that are coming in the mail tomorrow (and those XP50's if Diode Dynamics wants to donate a pair for the cause!) In theory, the 90 LEDs on the JDMastar's might be brighter than the ones I am currently using, but less effective at focusing the light where it is needed. Each diode is smaller, but I've seen how well a whole bunch of them add up in the brake lights. It'll be interesting to see how well they work in the tiny space provided for the reverse lights.

BenzNut is right, they will hyper-flash, and I'm going to have to look into this forscan thing. It hasn't really bothered me enough to make it a priority, and putting the resistors in seems to defeat some of the purpose of upgrading, not to mention I'd rather not drill into the metal to mount them.

I'll add one thing, though, I did my tail/turn and my front turn signal swaps at different times, with the fronts first. There must have still been enough of a draw with both sets of rear signals to not trigger the hyper-flash, but when I finished the rears, it did. Oddly enough, there must be enough draw when the hazard lights are turned on, as they will flash at normal speed.

Will these work with the BLISS?

Ok, got my JDM ASTAR 800 Lumen 921's in the mail today, and had a chance to install them. I also compared them to the $13 Rayhoo 1000 Lumen 921's, and I think the JDM ASTARs may be a tad bit brighter... wasn't a dramatic difference though. The quality seemed better on the JDM ASTARs, so I decided to use those in my truck. The difference between the LEDs and stock incandescent bulbs is definitely obvious. The area behind the truck is much better lit and the backup camera is much more clear with the LEDs. It's obviously not as good as additional lights bolted under the bumper, but I think they're good enough now to where I don't need to do that. A few photos (I'm building a shed and the garage will soon be much cleaner, haha):

The results are in. JDMastar>iJDMtoy with regard to the two links I posted earlier.

I will be replacing my "toys" with "stars" all around on each vehicle soon.

***For reference, the driver's (left) side of the cargo lamps had the JDMastar bulbs installed.

Default 360-degee Extreme Bright 50W CREE High Power 912 921

Anyone using these Extreme Bright 50w led bulbs for reverse lights? If so what is your opinion?

Glad to see you guys are on board. Although I think I'm going to swap my switchbacks for some silvaniya zevos as they're too bright, and they disturb my cutoff with my osram CBI's.

I also have the JDM Astar's as my reverse lights. Is there something better out there? Yeah maybe. But it gets the job done well and they were inexpensive. Backing up at night with tint and the factory bulbs was like backing into a black hole. I can at least see with the JDM's now with no issues. I got em after seeing someone post about them back in April 2015. So I've had em over a year with no issues at all.
