Default Sync Text Messages

How do you get it to work? It just says 00 messages, then when I try to download new messages it says failed. I have MAP on but it shows " MAP on?" there is not way to select yes to MAP. On my phone which is a HTC One X, I have share sms.

I just got it to to show txt messages the other day, before it just said unsupported. Do I need to delete device and reconnect?

It works on my truck. It also works on my wife 2010 edge. If you say help, the sync system will give you the commands you can say. When I get home tomorrow I'll go out and play with it and let you know the exact command. You may just need to pair you phone again to get it to work right. I have the motorola photon and wife has the same phone and it works pretty well with the sync system.

I've only ever used the "read new text" command with both my BB9900 and my wife's Moto Atrix. I will have to play around more with it.

I think if it says "MAP On", it is prompting to turn it on. It is one of those reverse meaning inputs.

Delete your phone from sync and delete sync from the phone buetooth list. On the phone press settings then bluetooth then menu at top, go to advanced set messaging access on. In sync under phone advanced settings Mapi to on? press ok it changes display to mapi off this means its on. Finally in sync turn message play on. Re-pair your One X and it should work, mine does.

Yes they do, works with my aftermarket Bluetooth in my truck, it is however an iPhone 4S, but I don't think that should matter

How did you set it up. My iPhone 4S says that it is not a compatible device. Any help would be appreciated.
