That is correct, not only that if you put a glass screen protector on it it pretty much disappears.

I just upgraded from MFT to Sync 3. I was able to get everything programmed and it works but I have one small thing I can't seem to figure out.
When I change the volume with the dash ****, nothing shows up on the screen, when I use the steering wheel button, I get a volume display on the screen, but it shows "Minimum Volume" and doesn't change.
Any ideas what I'm missing here?
I've done a lot of research before I started this so it was a pretty smooth process. Thanks to all involved!

Did you use the settings I posted in the main topic? Everything works perfect on mine.

Have you verified all of the settings for the APIM in ForScan against Raptor's numbers? I'm assuming so.. but thought I'd throw that out there.. Is there anything off with regards to your dash mounted control ***** or anything like that? I'm not sure how all of this stuff is wired -- whether those controls go directly through the APIM or get intercepted by another module and forwarded (if applicable) to the APIM -- I suspect #2 but might be wrong.

Mine is non-nav. I also discovered that the text to speech function doesn't work either. It mutes the sound for a second, doesn't say anything, then just starts playing music again.
I did try resetting the APIM from Forscan and from the screen but it didn't help.
I'll try re-entering everything again and see what happens.

I will test that today but I am pretty sure it works as I have used it recently.

It was me. Finally got everything setup correctly and working properly. I guess the old man should have zoomed in or got his glasses. 8s and Bs, 0s and Ds... I'm too old for this crap. LOL
I appreciate all of your help. It works like a champ now.

Glad to hear, had me baffled how mine was working and yours was not...
