Same here since it sounds like are trucks are almost identical. I didn't really dislike MFT like a lot of people, but I'm really excited to have Apple Car Play. I didn't know much about it until I drove a rental car that had it. I decided right then and there, I had to get it.

I have the below available if interested message me for details....
2 - Screen and APIM Module (Non Navigation)
1 - Screen and APIM Module (Navigation)
They may have a fine scratch or two on screen as they are coming out of wrecks.

I have been doing a ton of research on this topic and have sprawled across a few boards since I decided to piece together a "kit" for myself. I did run across this Google spreadsheet that does verify a lot of the part numbers that @2018Raptor has posted with more. It also breaks out nav vs. non-nav APIMs and verified sync 3 screens.

I have also read some folks do get odd signal issues using an aftermarket GPS antenna or signal is lacking. My question is - has anyone tried to upgrade to a 2016+ newer F-150 antenna that has Sirius/XM/GPS frequencies and used the Ford factory splitter? I tried matching up part numbers from a 2014 F-150 antenna to the newer and it seems they are both the FAKRA connections. Was hoping you could just upgrade the antenna and use the splitter without needing to replace the wiring in between.

Switching back to a rooftop antenna he had impressive gains. Also thought it would be cleaner and easier to just use the 1 antenna instead of the coiled one under the dash. Guess I'll see once I start taking things apart and get a good look at my ACM to trace where that goes. The Ford splitter is only $12...

Did you try checking the GPS signal in sync 3? I have mainly been reading into this guy's thread who has done quite a few mods to his APIM and other modules: http://www.2gfusions.net/showthread....3061#pid133061

Yeah I understand, just saying I have had absolutely zero issues with the antenna linked below..... Also would it go in same spot as the antenna like picture below goes? Or would one have to drill etc.

Has anyone with a Platinum or Limited upgraded to Sync 3 yet? I am definitely going to do this upgrade when I get back to the states. But I am also going to attempt to install MFT controlled ambient lighting. I think it can be done, just wondering if any Platinum or Limited owners lost their ambient lighting controls in the Sync 3 upgrade.
