Ode to thine Sync.
As an experiment, I removed the ipod and line I had installed on the USB2 port. I plugged the ipod in to the USB port in the center cluster and interestingly enough this cleared up almost all of the issues I have experienced. I've been running it this way for 2 weeks now and haven't had a hiccup. So I guess I can't complain too much anymore as I was using sync in a way it may not have been designed to be used.
I completely understand the OP message in this one. I have a '10 XLT. I find myself swearing and yelling at sync all the time, can not understand a word of what i'm saying. I have to call on my phone the old fashion way and use sync as a speakerphone. Everyone I talk to on my phone has no problem understanding me. Navigation is absolutly horrible, embarassing and cumbersome. I just use my droid for navigation. And the mic's, i'm on mic number 5 in a year and a half. Eff you sync.

My Sync doesn't understand anything I say. And then once you mess up, it won't work proper till you reset it.
I tell her "Select Genre Country"
Sync Says...
"Press OK For Track 03" I want COUNTRY dammit!
We've been working on this one for weeks and she just won't listen to me.
