Default LED light bars

on the wishlist among many things for the truck are light bars.. i want to basically blind people when im coming down the road. i was wondering if i could do a low profile led bar on the roof of behind the grille and pictures if yall have done it or something similar. also, do yall think 2 10 inch light bars mounted on either side of the roof would look bad?

Really? I mean.... come on.... Really!?

Wrong attitude towards your fellow drivers. If you want bright lights so that you can see where you are going, offroading, avoid accidents with wildlife... that's great. If your sole reason is to blind people, you need to grow up.

If you want to be the 'top dawg' of being a jerk on the roadway, get the following:
-Ridgid Industries 50" light bar mounted to the top of your truck
-2 40" bars behind your grill
-20" bar between your bread-boxes.

You could even add a flasher to really annoy other drivers..... you might even cause an accident. Oh yeah, don't forget your train horns while your out blinding other drivers.

If you are just looking for additional lighting while off-roading, the 20" bar would probably suffice.

I'll applogize on his part. Some people just get sand in their panties, its cool though, we're all just a bunch of F-150 owners. . . right? To answer your topic, I was actuallu planning on doing the same thing. Which was to put a long light bar (1 or 2 stacked) behind my grille. I have seen them on the roof and they are cool and so is your idea, but defiantly behind the grill would be sweet.

No need to apologize on my behalf, I didn't say anything wrong.

Ever been in a car and an oncoming truck/SUV had an aftermarket HID conversion with the factory lights? To say the glare is blinding is an understatement; it'll ruin your night vision which takes quite a while to return. There is a huge difference in standard halogen lights & HID's w/Projectors vs HID's w/factory halogen reflectors and after-marked Off-Road lights. It's a safety issue plain and simple

Sparky said he wanted to blind oncoming drivers; this attitude is immature and irresponsible. There is nothing wrong with wanting more light in front of your truck; many of us have done it, many of us want to do it.

Had he come off by stating the following, I probably would of told him the best way to achieve it:

Hey guys, I'm looking to add some lights to the front of my truck for when I'm __________ (4 wheeling, beach cruising, Driving in the mountains to avoid deer, etc). What are my options? I've thought about mounting a LED light bar or two to either the roof of my truck or behind the grill, has anyone done that before?

.... While perhaps my example of a better way to approach the topic is a bit extreme, it doesn't state my sole mission with the "uber lights" will be to cause other drivers duress by blinding them. There is a reason these lights are marketed as "Off Road" lights - and I'm willing to bet any quality manufacturer has a notation on their product that states that their lights are for off-road use only (Liability type stuff).

Law Enforcement will happily ticket you for blinding oncoming drivers with your lights; most if not all states have a law that requires you to dim your high-beams for oncoming traffic. If not, they will find another reason to cite you. Do you really want to invite "the man" into your life and give them a reason to harass you?

Don't forget, if you cause an accident due to reckless behavior, even if you don't have damage to your vehicle, you could be found liable. Doesn't matter if you get the ticket that day or not, a good lawyer would have a field day with you and your insurance company.

He obviously didn't mean he was going to do it, some people just say things. I understand you had to put your foot down and stand up for what you believe in, but come on, no ones actually going to be a dirtbag like you state.
