navigation problem

Yes I agree. Despite all the sarcasm in this thread, I guess some folks dont realize that your iPhone uses a combination of GPS, cell tower triangulation and wifi to gain your location. It is called assisted GPS and most GPS units use secondary info to help gain a faster and more efficient fix on location. Google search is your friend.
So, perhaps Ford is using the speedo to help with location and that is why the GPS is off? Not sure.
My software is up to date, but my speedo is not calibrated so I'm not sure what is the issue.
Anyone else having this issue? Or is it only happening to 2013s with My Ford Touch?

For what it's worth - I'm pretty sure this technology isn't new with MFT. My 2012 navigation shows my truck moving and turning when I'm in the parking structure at work. Its not getting signal in there for sure.

I was also having the same problem. The only "fix" so far has been to disconnect the negative side of your battery for about 1 hour and reconnect. Must cause the system to reset. My nav was basically unusable before I did this. Has been fine for over a month now.
I have searched and followed several forums on this issue and this has been the only thing that has worked.

Same issue here, I do have aftermarket slightly bigger tires but really struggle to believe that a slightly taller tire would make it be off to the right or left of the actual location. If they told me I would be behind where I actually was or in front of my actual location due to a taller tire I could entertain that but there is no excuse for it showing me several blocks to the right or left of my actual location. It will start out on the right road then as I keep going straight it veers off randomly. I will try the battery fix and let you all know what happens.
