Does this happen in the first 10 minutes of driving???
No. This happened over time and progressively got worse over several months. And was happening all the time. This was happening traveling on the NYS thruway. Should always have a good signal. No other GPS, TomTom or Garmin ever had a problem. Always had a signal as indicated on the display.

I notice the bad times for signal too when my tractor is steering itself down the field
There are 27 satellites, 24 active and 3 spares. You only need 4 for a position. (maybe not the best one) That chart indicated I always have 7 to 12 available except for 2 points where I drop to 6.

Those of us in the lower 48 should always have a good signal most of the time.

We need someone that has working knowledge of Ford's programing to chime in here. I think they are trying to take too much into account and be too accurate. I think this is a case of sometimes less is better.
