Yeah I think I'm going to check one more place locally just for pricing and then if they're still ridiculous like that other place I'm gonna end up sending them to this guy.

 

armrests, dash, n console lid will be done next week. I'll post some pics. also doing the door trim panels n console trim with black 3m di noc "carbon fiber". should look sick when it's done.

 

Is that a high quality carbon fiber vinyl? There's some cheaper ones on amazon. Just wondering if that 3M Di Noc is generally the company everyone uses.

 

It wasn't that expensive. i got 3sq' on ebay for 68 shipped. metro styling or something like that is the vendor. also spent $5 n got two 4"x8" pieces in red to do the inlays on the f150 badges. i painted them black last night n cleared them, after i do the inlays i might clear them again. almost spent $100 on fx4 "appearance" badges!

 

Do you know anything about the VViViD 7 Dark Grey Carbon Fiber Vinyl Wrap with Air Release Technology? You can get a 5x3 feet for $25.00. Is VViViD a well know company???

Yup, 3M Di-Noc is good stuff. You should see the Japanese with that stuff. They put that stuff on fridges. LOL

 

hahaha thats too funny cause i was saying to my buddy last night while i was ordering the stuff "hey we could wrap the fridge with this stuff" all my appliances are black n my fridge is white. i was JK tho!
my neighbor has a white 3 series beamer with the roof done black n it looks sick. its a euro thing i believe. i wonder how it would look on a white truck roof, especially one with a black tonneau cover like mine..... hmmm

 

i found vinyl on ebay for 15$ a yard. i just ordered 7 yards to see what i can come up with on mine
