yeap, has to be done. that's how my interior guy broke it down to me as well. to answer your question about the seats, you definitely have to remove the seat cover to have it embroidered.

Well that was an absolute joke. Just got back from my upholstery shop. They quoted me $135 labor per piece (center console lid and dash cover). And $240 labor for each arm rest! Plus $42 for the material per piece. And that was pleather! Leather was $450 for half a hide which would have covered everything but still included all the ridiculous labor charges. Let me know what they are charging y'all. I don't need real leather. High quality pleather is fine

my guy just called me with a quote. $300 for the six pieces wrapped in black suede w red stiching. (armrest dash insert, n console lid)
$1000 for my f&r seats. macs upholstery in ca

Do any of you guys know an online upholstery shop. Where I could send off my pieces and have them covered. Because I cannot find a relatively priced upholstery shop locally. Very frustrating

shipping wont be that bad either. maybe $40-$50 there n back.
