Default Leather question

So I'm thinking about bringing my truck to an auto leather upholstery shop one of these days. How much do you think an upholstery shop would charge to wrap the following pieces in leather? Like they are in the platinum trim (stitching and all)

-Center console lid

-front dash instrument panel cover

-each armrest on the door panels

-and I may even get the whole front dash section in leather (depending on cost and if it would fade in the sun)

Attached are some pictures of the parts I want to cover and make look like the pictures.

What do you guys think about this idea?

Not sure of the other parts but I bought the console lid from tasca for about 100 that matched my FX2 leather. Install was simple. But I would also be interested in what you find out. I do not care much for the hard plastic on the door panels of my FX2

Ya I hear ya. It's not $100 on tasca anymore though. It's pretty expensive now. That's why I got this idea to just see if I could get all those hard plastic pieces covered. Depending on cost. I really don't think it should be too expensive

I have an interior guy around my way that's super cheap but does great work. anyway, if u want to save some cash, go vinyl. I just asked him about doing vinyl on my armrests since they are a high wear area, he told me that if I remove them for him he'll charge me 30$ a piece.. and his work is badass! anyway I hope this helps

What were those prices you included in your reply? Are those just the general what you think it would cost me prices?

Are those quoted prices in leather? It vinyl? If they're $100 a pop for leather, I would probably just use the vinyl.

yeah that's in general in leather. especially if your interior guy has a black leather hide left over, mine has a bunch. vinyl is definitely cheaper and it looks great. plus its hella durable

Do you know generally how much cheaper vinyl is than leather? If leather was $100, how much would it cost to do it in vinyl?
