Not sure if that's possible... Mine didn't have nav, so can't answer. I would think you would have to pick one or the other...

Your factory radio does so much more with the truck than just radio / gps. It's responsible for all your HVAC controls, displays temp, etc. If you turned it down (behind the dash) then you might find yourself with a loss of some functions. The benefits might not outweight the losses.

It's often easier to find a USB adapter plug and use a regular USB extension cable then to find the correct adapter cable, especially if you are looking for it locally.
  • 1 USB Type B male to Type B female extension cable. Available anywhere...
  • 1 USB Type A mini to Type B female adapter. Not as easy to find, but much easier than a Type A mini to Type B female cable

Adapter plug plus extension cable = adapter cable

Yea, I couldn't find anything local that worked so I just ordered the right cable that was needed online.
