iPad mini in-dash install
Not sure if that's possible... Mine didn't have nav, so can't answer. I would think you would have to pick one or the other...
Your factory radio does so much more with the truck than just radio / gps. It's responsible for all your HVAC controls, displays temp, etc. If you turned it down (behind the dash) then you might find yourself with a loss of some functions. The benefits might not outweight the losses.
Finally got a good finish on my bezel!
If I can find a USB cable I need for the USB 2, then I might skip work and install this beast!
BTW, there is a lot of work, trial and error(mainly error) in one of these things... I know why everyone charges what they do for them now!!!!!

- 1 USB Type B male to Type B female extension cable. Available anywhere...
- 1 USB Type A mini to Type B female adapter. Not as easy to find, but much easier than a Type A mini to Type B female cable
Adapter plug plus extension cable = adapter cable

It's often easier to find a USB adapter plug and use a regular USB extension cable then to find the correct adapter cable, especially if you are looking for it locally.
