I have jailbroken many apple products but for the in-car experience the cydia app "plugged-in" is a must!!

So far i have installed "Plugged in" which lets you set it to unlock when it recieves power and open a certain appp everytime if you want. you can also set it to lock screen when power is removed.

I also installed the cydia app that eliminates the "not charging" in the top bar

I also installed the No ACC Splash. What this does is eliminates the Accessory plugged in screen and lets you see what you are playing on the music and video apps.

Hey guys,

I think that the software loads and setup on these integrated iPad installations is critical to a great experience with them. Already picked up a few tidbits from these installation threads, but thought it would be useful to start a dedicated thread for software on car iPads.

Started a new thread here:

anyone have experience putting the mini in a truck with the factory screen? I don't want to lose the factory functions on my limited, but wish to upgrade the dash interface to the mini. is that even possible yet? thanks

Finally got a good finish on my bezel!

If I can find a USB cable I need for the USB 2, then I might skip work and install this beast!

BTW, there is a lot of work, trial and error(mainly error) in one of these things... I know why everyone charges what they do for them now!!!!!
