The mileage is crazy high to me. High mileage vehicles don't bother me, but in such a short timeframe.....that would bother me. Did the previous owner drive it across country once a month?! Something just seems odd to me. If u really want it, then i would make the seller, not you, pays for the crazy high mileage.

You could easily get a 12 for that price, I see 13 XLT with average 20,000 miles on em here with chrome package for 26-29, I would look for something with lower km because as mentioned if for any reason you sell early your gonna be on the hook for some hard coin.

Been doing some work in Excel, and all things being equal, if I bought a new XLT and didn't trade my car in on the deal (therefore loosing the trade in incentive and the trade value), the difference between buying the used lariat truck and a new XLT is 5800 bucks. That would buy me a hell of an extended warranty and a boatload of gas......

Yes it would....

As well as after market parts....I have been looking at Heated seats and seat covers and they are not at all that expensive. Toggle switch would have them come on when I start my truck with the remote.

64k miles seems way too high. My gut is telling me he used it as a commercial vehicle hauling SOMETHING cross country as his job. Further than that, anything is a guess but i have heard of weirder things than people replacing things such as bedliner, trailer hitch, 7 pin connector etc to hide previous use/abuse before trade in. Be careful. If it's not a spray in bedliner, pull it up and have a looksie.

I wouldn't be concerned with this truck at all. I bought my 2010 fx2 with 13,000 miles for $27,000. The only service needed May be transmission fluid change but this truck will last and drive great. I bought my first Screw(2001) with 58,000 miles And I sold it with 210,000 and it drove better than when I bought it.

I wanted another higher end truck when I got Mine we or the wife at the time, had FX4 and liked the set up of it so wanted the same, but then I started looking at loaded 2012 XLT XTR =chrome pkg. 5.0 3:55

I started first looking at higher end Used trucks, but they were almost the same price and not worth it, and then ford incentives at the time employee pricing were 14K off, I got it loaded with buckets, floor console, they call it a luxury package for the XLT, rear camera rear sensors, tow pkg, heated mirrors E loc, keyless entry, 20", chrome steps, tailgate step, cargo extender
box liner, rear slider, fog lights, good mats, steering wheel controls, xlt conv pkgs, im sure Ive left out a few other things but you get the point
Its a great Truck

I added katzkin leather & heat and a moon roof and did through the ford dealer, got great deal. it is so comfortable.

I bought it for the same reason, for travel and towing, but I drive it every day now.
I parked my GTP car and just drive it 3 months a yr now, and parked 1ton diesel just to haul the camper now.

But I get you want luxury when you travel that's a lot of *** Time in the seat, I love mine and well very comfortable since I added the leather and roof.

here is a few pics as what it was to now

I work at a dealership in the detailing department, you can tell the difference between a commercial truck vs a personal truck in the condition of it. If it looks good to you and the mileage doesn't bother you then I'd go for it. I'd have them include the warranty and also to have it fully inspected at the closest ford.

I drive around 10,000 miles a month on my F150. Us guys who work utilities can put a lot of miles on our trucks. My 2013 F150 XLT has 115,668 on it (purchased late Feb 2013). I purchased it new. If all looks good, then go for it. Most of my miles are highway, with some rough terrain off roading to my telecommunications sites, and mix weather (clear, snow, ice, rain). My truck still purrs well as I take excellent care of it. Enjoy!
