HID help.
I know I have seen a thread on this here buy my search is no working on my iPhone. So maybe someone could post a link or help me out. I want to get them on my 2011 150. Does anyone know where to get some good ones with high and low beams. I know the high beams are halogen. Wanna get white with a little bit of blue. Thanks
before you go with hid's i'd definitely recommend you look into sylvania silverstar bulbs instead. take it from someone who used to have hid's, they're a pain in the *** and there is alot that can go wrong with them. the silverstars are as simple as the factory bulbs, always work, and are just as bright with as much visibility as hid's.

The problem with silverstars, they need to be replaced more frequent. The price of a quality HID would cost you 4 sets of Sylvanias.
Why not buy the Mini morimoto for about $300 and do it right the first time?

PIAA make some great aftermarket replacements as well.
But as for answering the OP's original question, check out:

McCullough brand is awesome, they are one of the best in my opinion. Have several people that I know with them, both the single bulb and dual bulb setups. Getting ready to invest in a kit for both my heads and fogs. Also putting together my shopping list for theretrofitsource.com!

Philips is the best Hid kit you can buy IMO and probably the most expensive but it will minimize your problems. I've spoke on this before but I'll say again a halogen bulb will not touch the output of and hid, color wise they can get close but as far as output goes no halogen can compare.

I got http://www.retrosolutionsllc.com/ser...VERSION/Detail 5000K and love them. Good price for the quality (there are certainly cheaper kits, but with questionable quality) & the lifetime warranty is nice. Way brighter than stock bulbs. Use promo code FORDFORUM for 10% discount.

Now hid bulbs in stock housings should not be done for the fact you will blind other drivers and it's not that much Better then stock any one who does this needs to be drug into the street and smacked!!! If you plan to do True HIDs get the mini H1 kit in the group buy. It requires that you are handy and can figure out the install or someone from hidplanet to do it for you if you want to do this expect to pay around 800 for everything. If you are handy you can do it yourself for around $300 it will take the better part of a day to do the full install it's really called a (retro fit)
My wife's car and my truck both have projectors. The car has Sylvania Silverstar Ultra bulbs, the truck has 6000k hid's, they are completely different, Silverstars are a great upgrade from stock bulbs, but nowhere near the light output of hid's.
