Default Got hit

Walked out of Walmart and my wife first spotted it. Don't know when, how or who. What's the best fix?

Dry ice and lots of patience, or you can always remove the fender and pop it out so to speak.

First thing I would try is checking with one of the paintless dent removal places. They can do some amazing stuff if it's not on a crease in the body work and the paint isn't cracked. They won't charge you a thing to look at it and give an estimate. Would probably cost less than your insurance deductable.

Was it a hit and run or did the driver leave their info?

It does not look like damage to the paint. The top drawer dent removal places can do miracles, and fairly cheap too. They can either come to your place and some of them have special shops where the entire vehicle can be driven into “bright white light” on all sides, roof, top, front and back – like a garage light tunnel. This allows the tech to see things they cannot see in the field. I had a car repaired under all that light, it was a miracle for sure.

Difinitely a candidtate for paintless dent removal. Doesn't look like paint damage, and it's not on a crease. The Dent Wizard did one for me once. You'd never know. They also fixed about 20 dents in my mother's car from hail damage.

On a side note, you wouldn't beleive how many BRAND NEW vehicles are delivered damaged, or get damaged in the lots, and the dealerships call people like this to fix the damage. Who knows??? this might be your truck's 2nd dent!!! (kidding)

Dentless may work but he also has a crack in the turnsignal/side marker light housing. Moisture will destroy it in no time.
