you aint a real man unless you can lean over a cloth bench seat to roll down a manual window...with your bare hands!!! then sit back up and pull it into 4x4 manually. then kick it back in 2 and drive 6 hours on the interstate...with no cruise control!!! much less finding your way to wherever it is your going without standard onboard navigation!! and godforbid your butt gets cold...or warm for that matter. if you wanna see the moon you gotta stick your spoiled little head out the window, cuz XLs dont come with moon roofs. and if you need something out of your bed, better start hitting the squat machine, cuz we aint got no dadburned tailgate step!

I had a 2006 FX4. Nice truck. Now I have a 2010 Lariat 4wd. I was looking at the FX4 but I wanted leather and living here in Arizona black leather in the summer while wearing shorts is not a good mix. Now the A/C seats on the Lariat should come in handy if for nothing else but cooling the seats down. Either route you're getting the best trucks out there no matter what package you get. Plus my Lariat did just fine on the trails the last two weekends getting me to a fishing spot so I'm happy.
