I have a Lariat and it is almost exactly like my FX4 I traded in. The NAV is awesome and better than dodge by a long shot. I drove from Las Vegas to San Antonio and it worked great. The travel link feature is also excellent.

In answer to your radio question, if Im understanding you correctly, and judging from the SIRIUS/XM radios Ive had in the past, the radio will work as a normal radio. You can switch back and forth while you are subscribed or just go radio when not.

The satillite radio rocks though, so many options and never get out of range, though it does drop for a sec or two sometimes, but rarely. I think after 6 months you probably will want to keep it.

I would advise you to look at the website, they offer life time contracts for around $600 plus or minus depending on package you want, and my understanding is you can take it with you by changing the radio number in your account page, if you change vehicles or radio's.

They never offered me this when they start harrasing you after 6 months to buy their service they only offered the monthly to me when they called/emailed otherwised badgered me. The life time service is on the website though and they do talk about it if you ask.

At $24 a month normal subscription, the life time pays for it self in about 2 years.

i really havnt been too satisfied by sirius, i still find myself searching alot on it.
i think im just gonna end my sub to sirius and sign up with pandora/or slacker radio on my phone. hell of a lot cheaper and unlimited skipping!

Wow some people need to lighten up. The fx4 was my second pick. I couldn't deal with the black interior so I went with the platinum ha. I do wish they would paint the fender flares on the fx4 tho. They are all nice trucks tho.
