When I bought my FX2, I was originally looking for an XLT, then the salesman showed me my FX2 and told me he could get me a lower price on it than the XLT I had picked out (Even though the FX2 had an obviously higher sticker price). I called B.S. and told him to prove it...well you know which truck I bought. Go figure. Looking back, I love my FX2, and am very glad I bought it over the XLT I was looking at. All the little things that make it an FX2 make a big difference to me in the big picture.

 

Depends on your location which trim/style/color/brand, etc is most prevelant

 

Here in upstate NY, the CSEA union dudes all drive FX's. I'm happy to be driving an XLT, if for no other reason than to show I ain't one.

 

I'm still trying to decide b/t Lariat and FX4. i like the chrome grill and bumpers on the lariat b/c I think they will hold up better over time than the black grill and painted bumpers, but I think I like the interior better on the FX lux pack. But the light wood grain with black leather is growing on me and I think that I could alter the light wood grain with a kit if I got tired of it. They all look good though especially with alittle bigger tires and a level kit and maybe a nice tool box. Just my opinion.

 

This thread is pretty stupid. Is the OP the kind of person who looks over the divider when he is taking a **** to see how big the other dudes junk is?

 

I love the 2010 I bought new last month. Got a great deal on it and I hardly ever see FX4s where I live. Everybody has XLTs, Lariats, and Chevy Silverados.

To each their own though. I am just happy I finally got my first truck.
