Issue: Cannot default the My Ford Sync system (without Navigation) to Bluetooth audio
Some users are having an issue with when they turn the ignition on their My Ford Sync system reverts to Line-In even though they were using Bluetooth audio when they turn their vehicle off. They would like to have the system revert back to Bluetooth audio instead of having to go through the menus to be able to get to Bluetooth audio or use the voice commands. A Ford customer service representative FordIVTteam actually joined in the conversation and gave the reason why Ford made this change (as it would previously revert to Bluetooth) and the best method to get back to the source they wanted.

Can Sync default to Bluetooth Audio?
I think any updates with Sync 2 from here on out are going to be sparse to non existent. Why do software updates when Sync 3 is out and Ford would rather sell you a new car than update your existing one.
You're preaching to the choir. Read all the pages, see how many posts I've made about it. I've got a 2011 with a iPad dash so I don't even have the radio buttons anymore. So it makes life that much more difficult since Sync doesn't work as intended. At this point it's flat out a joke how Ford has dropped the ball on this.
Literally spent 30 minutes trying to get bluetooth to come back active yesterday. Usually pull the fuse but I didn't even want to mess with it.

On my truck it's the second one from the top on the most left row of fuses.
I'm not.
Hell, I thought I had it fixed. Got rid of Sync altogether with an aftermarket solution from Pioneer, but all that did was make my truck a target for junkies to break into, so after the second break-in, I put the stock crap back in there and deal with Sync. (The junkies broke into the truck a third time for good measure, but found nothing to take that time, because, well, I leave nothing in the truck except a few fast-food napkins and a cell phone charger at this point.)
I deal with Hyundai's VR software daily at work, and Chrysler's almost daily. They work virtually flawlessly. Hell, I got the 2015 Dart I did a UCI on today to play "Bidibodi Bidibu" by Bubbles off my flash drive on the FIRST TRY using just voice commands. I can't get Sync to play it at ALL using voice commands!

I can't even get Sync to go to bluetooth audio when I say "bluetooth audio" most of the time.
I'm new on here. I've had my new to me 2013 XLT ecoboost screw for about 4 months, if I knew about this before I bought the truck I would have passed on it.
I'm in and out of my truck a couple times a day and feel like a fool shouting BLUETOOTH AUDIO every time I get back in it.
I can't believe there isn't a fix for this.

I can't complain too much because I haven't had nearly the bad experiences most of you are posting about (knock on wood). However I did want to rant for a second on why it is to much to ask for a user programable Aux Input button. With three different aux inputs, it would be great to be able to set the button to the one I want (bluetooth audio) and just press it when I get in the truck. Granted my voice command of "Bluetooth Audio" works 99% of the time but I would rather just push the button as I do when I want Sirius radio.
