Thanks Dude !
I was hoping for some good opinions.

Ok all joking aside. I'm curious why you are so dead set against 911? Have you had some sort of negative situation in the past with them? If you were far away from anyone you trust and God forbid had a terrible accident where u needed medical attention who would you call other than an ambulance or fire dept? Even if you called them directly it's really no different than 911. Like I said I'm just interested because you seem so steadfast against them like they are the devil or something. No disrespect intended in any way.

K, seeings this thread is already a train wreck...

Imagine, you've just flipped your truck, you're upside down in a ditch miles from anywhere, theres smoke and you can't move.

You look over at your dash and see your phone is still connected to sync. So with every once of energy, you manage to push the button on steering wheel to activate sync and the voice comes on...

"Please say a command" YES!

So you say, call POLICE!

And sync says,

Playing the Police"!

And the song "Roxanne" starts to play! (by the Police)

My buddy was having a heart attack
The hospital told him as long as 911
would of took to get to you.
you would be dead.
we hit you 6 times with the paddles.

I don't care for 911

So 911 trying to save him is worse then no one saving him

You don't have to do anything. When your airbags are deployed it automatically calls 911. You don't have to say call police or call ambulance. It's done all on its own.

And whey I do not agree with them. I'm bitching.

Went to my truck and started digging in the manual.

Found out I can go in the phone menu
Go to 911 assist and turn it off.
Then go to reminders and turn them off.

Now 911 is OFF
And Reminders is OFF
And I DO NOT have the 911 reminder , reminding me that 911 is off.

There is always another way if you look hard enough for it.

Thanks anyway for all the help.
Thanks for letting us know, I always wondered if it was possible. I hated that stupid message.
