Default 911

Got my Samsung Galaxy S5 Bluetoothed to my Radio.
Everytime I get in the truck and crank it. Got the lady in the radio telling me I do not have 911 turned on. I am very aware of it.
If there is an EMERGENCY the LAST person I want to call is 911.
I will not even call 911 from my mobile phone.
It there a way to kill 911 in the radio ?

As far as I know there is no way to totally get rid of the 911 assist. The only thing you can do is select it to off. And besides that the only thing that it does if it is turned on would be call 911 if you were in an accident.

Same thing pisses me off every time I get in.

If I change it to "on" will it say "sync is reminding you 911 assist is on" instead? Or will it finally shut up?

Then unpair your phone because that's the only way to get away from the 911 reminder

Not a Good Answer !

Want to be able to use my phone if I get a call. And I want to use it threw the radio so I can hear and not hold it up to my ear.
They are passing hands free laws on Mobile phones.
Think Austin has already passed it.

You come and ask for help then when someone gives you an answer you bitch about it because it's not what you wanted to hear. Not a real good way to get help solving a problem.

Mine only comes up on the screen and says 911 assist is on. The sync doesn't say anything. Maybe it's different on the different systems but that's all mine does with My ford touch.

Sorry but I do not wish to hear anything.

And I do not think I'm the only person.

Then the only option is to turn Bluetooth off as said above.
