911
I grew up in the 50's and 60's. We seemed to do just fine without 911
We don't think that we need to worry about all the modern progress with 911.
I live out in the country. We call the local Sherieff and ambulance service.
I live 8 miles from the nearest small town.
They are prepared and know what to do.
By the time 911 can go threw its proper channels and get somebody dispatched to us.
They wasted a lot of time.
You can do what makes you feel safe.

Does it looked like this where you live ?
You think we got city police or fire and rescue that come out.
We don't have a fire department that comes out.
Not sure if the Volunteer fire dept that was the closest to us is even still there.
You had better learn what to do where you live. Or you just might not make it by the time your 911 help gets there, it may be too late.
Our Sherieff and people knows who to call that will respond the fastest to us.
And who can find us the fastest.
