ZEN-A2B B&O Stereo integration?

So the trick during install (I am doing mine Friday) is, use Analog off the a2b (I assume since that is the only way a DSP is going to know the correct channel mix vs. stereo with Toslink) then play the chimes/etc. and monitor the levels on channels 5/6? With the Audison 8.9 Amp/DSP combo I'm a little confused as to how to do that without throwing off the rest of the mix but maybe it will make more sense when I see it in action.
Since the Audison has 6 inputs I was planning on running this preset config: full front L/R, full rear L/R, and one channel each for center and sub. Even though my center speaker isn't hooked up I figure I might as well feed that input in to the Audison in case there are any OEM sound considerations.
Full signal front channels 1/2(?) will split off door mids and tweeters L/R (the Audison has 8 outputs and active crossovers so my tweeters are already run directly to it). Rears are coax so I'll just feed them full - on 3/4 I assume. Then I'll feed the sub input to the pre-out on the Audison that feeds my Kenwood sub amp. Not 100% sure what to do with the center input signal/where to route it or if it matters - I know from a music perspective it doesn't but not sure if there are OEM sounds that only feed to the center speaker is what I mean. I know for sure I am missing OEM sounds today by bypassing all that and using the IPC speaker.
Also not sure if the above is possible with the Audison given it uses presets to set input.

I have my pillars worked on right now, so in a few weeks I will have a 3-way JL C7 for the front stage and VX1000/1 + VX800/8 amplifiers.

1. Front alerts: chime, collision detection, etc are routed to the front.
2. Rear alerts: backup sensors , blind spot detection - routed to the rear speakers.
the (music) volume attenuates when certain alerts are sounding. other alerts do not attenuate. This is also how the factory system works.

I got it installed last night but had a hell of a time getting it set-up, wiring was super simple.
I could not get the Toslink to even work at all.
And connecting it analog per their instructions I could only get the front mids/tweets working. I had no output on the rears or the sub at all.
I was able to get everything working if I connected the all rca's to the front channels of the ZEN A2B.
I left all the dip switches factory.
Anyone run into this on their set-up? Or did I miss something trying to use the Toslink.
I going to contact NavTv Tec support in a few and call JL also.

Edit:
Just got off the phone with NavTv for the ZEN A2B and their customer service is great. Getting the Toslink working was all me not understanding the JL TUN. They even helped me with that after flashing the ZEN to help with the other issues.
I definitely like using the Toslink because it cleans up the wires. I will test it out this week to see how I like the chims this way and give analog a try again to compare.
