With the Speed limit 75mph where I live, I would be scared to run 60.
Cars and trucks come up behind you too fast.
Because traffic is running faster than 75mph.

I know you like your big tires and the looks of your truck raised.
But aerodynamically it drags too much air.

Will void warranty unless that has changed.

Really this is something that should be installed from the factory. I'm at 68k so no worries but I think it's a crucial upgrade for the longevity of the motor

I have extended warranty and will trade before that runs out so not a worry on my part. One would think if its that a big a deal the engineers at ford would have installed one?

For the TT that I tow. Same reason I sold my F150 5.0... it was not up to the task for towing my trailer, but for a daily driver, much better on gas than the guzzleboost.

That is cool.

Just stating and you probably already know why your fuel milage is not any better.

The trucks are setup from the factory with the size tires. The height of the truck and the front spoiler under the front bumper to knock down on air draft.

Once we change any of this, it throws off everything on the truck that the engineers has setup.

Got a buddy that complains about his fuel milage.
And the 1st thing he did was raise it and put bigger tires on it so it would look Cool.

The cool factor knocked off 6 mpg on his truck.

But I'm still getting 21 highway 15.5 city. I think it's all how you drive them.
My fiance has a 14 eco extended cab 4wd 3.55 rear and she can't break 19mpg. She drives with a heavy foot I'm the opposite

Run 70-75 tell me what you get?

My 2014 running 70-75 with 2000 miles is getting 20.4 hiway.

Bottom line. If you are happy with your truck, that is all that matters.

When I was younger. My truck had to look Badd *** and be the fastest around.
And have Chrome Reverse wheels on it and some Mud terrain tires which I got no mileage out of.
Now I just want to Cruise around.

70 -75 is a solid 19mpg. I don't know about y'all but I bought this truck for the power and not so much the mileage. with everybody coming out with New things, the mileage is mediocre.still better than my 04 ram hemi I had when I was a kid . I truly believe these trucks can run 200,000 miles with no major issues if maintained properly. The 10,000 mile ford " synthetic " oil change is b.s. imo. The first 1000 miles I put on the truck I drained it and switched to 5w30 AMSOIL and change it every 7000 miles. Almost 70,000 miles and it runs very strong with the mods I have.
