Dsm take off the hydrogen generator. If you are not using an electrolyte, it will actually decrease your mileage. If you are, your engine will be dead in about 6 months.

Best thing to do, put in synthetic oil, and keep doing that. And an edge programmer might help. Probably not so much because it's av6 but at least you'll be able to change your driving style to be more efficient.

thanks bulldog150-but could you give all the specifics-why does the generator or rather how does it destroy the engine-I used baking soda for elecyrolyte 3 months ago and haven't added anything since-and why does the 'av6' not respond to this edge programmer-and to be certyain what is the av6....?...thanks

Hydrogen generators are a sham. You can not break the laws of thermodynamics. There is no such thing as free lunch.

The only way that the fuel consumption of the vehicle can be reduced by hydrogen injection is to produce the hydrogen outside of the vehicle and store it as a gas on board

Absolutely correct. And to take it one step further, generating hydrogen outside of the vehicle takes energy too. Whatever you save on fuel, you spent on electricity for electrolysis, plus all of the conversion inefficiencies along the way.

Actually, you can increase horsepower and better gas mileage with an electrolysis generator. But baking soda turns into poison when used as an electrolyte, enough to kill you so this is not recommended. It is also caustic to stainless steel. Once all the CO is burned off it isn't so bad but then it becomes less effective. The best electrolyte to use is KOH. The only downfall is its very dangerous to handle. And it could possibly bind to the HHO and enter your intake. The problem is filtration of the gas before entering the intake.

Read up on this...

As far as the programmer, you may see a very slight increase in mpg and horsepower but very minimal. These programmers were not designed for naturally aspirated engines. The smaller the displacement the less effect they are . So since you have a naturally aspirated V6 you might not have the gains you would like to see.

Sorry, but the whole hydrogen/"hho" generator is complete and utter bs. You can fool people but you cant fool physics and chemistry.
