Last few city trips with my 93 5.8L has shown 13-14 MPG. Out of an old beast like this, I certainly can't complain! Keep the decent numbers comin'!

First trip in the new to me '07 FX2 Scab / 5.4l / 3.55 rear end and 265/60x18 tires.

Carrying family of 4 and a couple of suitcases in the back, cruising 70-75mph for 3/4 tank returned 18mpg. Fill-up from 1/4 tank was $60 at $3.16 per gallon for that 312 miles.

Not bad at all. I know the air filter needs replacing and the 90,000 mile service is coming up soon.

For comparison, the '95 Volvo 850 turbo it replaced returned the same mileage for city driving but needed premium gas at 40 cents more per gallon.

Fortunately, I have a short 6 mile commute to work.

Weekender.

68 is the sweet spot for me in 2010 FX4 SCREW, and im a flat lander I drive 98mi one way to work, I leave my EDGE CTS in encon all the time, I see 20.5-21 when I cruise home...but when I-10 starts rolling it drops to 17mpg...especially in morning traffic on the 610 I-45 exchange....and I have the big tank 36gal?

If you think 68 is good, try 45.

This. Rolling through town I can get amazing mileage. It's all the other drivers that mess it up...

I drove 6 miles at a constant but excruciatingly boring 45 mph and my 400 hp f150 averaged a surprising 34+ mpg. It's considerably worse at 68.

Holding my foot steady on the pedal vs usjng cruise will also grab me a couple mpg in rolling hills but my feet fall asleep too fast to try it for very long

Default GForce Chip Effects on MPG

Has anyone had experience (good or bad) with the GForce chip? They make the usual claims for improved performance and mileage, but also specify it won't affect the original programming, thus allegedly won't void the factory warranty.
I'd be curious to hear. I've gotten to be pretty leery about products coming out of the Left Coast, since most, if not all, are imported from countries who couldn't care less about the effects on our vehicles, since no one can penalize them.
Any thoughts appreciated.

I get 23.5 on the highway after I added the 5* tune. Was 21mpg before. My 5.0 came with the 3.31 rear end. I dont tow with but its still quick
