Best of both worlds as far as my truck is concerned, lifted/leveled and used for the main reason I bought a truck.

Rake don't mean a damned thing for how a truck can be used, and there's no reason it can't look good doing it.

I use a rake in mine, everytime I have to retrieve something that slid to the front of the box.

Things change, they always do. Trucks these days are able to be luxurious and work-capable at the same time. Why would anyone be upset that a truck is now both, and that trucks appeal to more than construction crews these days?

I just don't understand the "problem" that some seem to have with this ...
+1.

Glad I am not the only one tired of these elitist comments on here.

lol - I remember my father buying an 85 or so Bronco just before he retired. First one he ever owned with carpeting. I went on about velour seats, chrome bumpers, cruise control and said "You didn't buy a truck, you bought a Cadillac."

He smiled a big smile and said "You can't plow snow with a Cadillac!"

I agree. There are several factors that make up a truck's overall stance.

Personally, I'm not into huge lifts but I do want to level my truck and put some slightly larger tires on it and push the wheels/tires out just a little bit.

Factory or leveled look fine to me unladen. Somewhat prefer the factory. However, put some weight in the bed or a trailer, and the leveled trucks look goofy.

My thoughts exactly. I would rather be caught dead then in a squatting truck lol
