Factory stance is perfect. I have never understood the need to level.

I like some rake, but some trucks have too much factory rake. My 2011 had over 2.5" of rake. I added a 2" leveling kit and still had a little over .5" of rake.

Agree with nasty that most come with too much rake and, to me, looks silly. After adding my level I still have a little bit of rake and it was enough to add bigger tires. I am very happy with the stance now. But to each his own!

I've never understood why people dye their hair purple and green. It's called personal preference.

I guess now there is no need for a rake, back when trucks were used as trucks the rake was useful, now 80% of people use the truck as their family hauler and the bed is never used to haul anything.

If I didn't tow or haul, I wouldn't buy a truck. A new generation all-aluminum body Expedition might redirect some F150 sales away for the grocery-getter family haulers..

^ You and I are among the few who actually use their trucks anymore... Obviously I'm exaggerating a bit but I think most know what I mean

I mean I don't use my truck like a truck every day, but its nice to know that when something comes up that requires a truck I've got it. I'm imagining the same goes for the 80% you were talking about.

I hear the "people don't use trucks as trucks anymore" thing so often - mostly around here - that it's gotten old and tired.

Things change, they always do. Trucks these days are able to be luxurious and work-capable at the same time. Why would anyone be upset that a truck is now both, and that trucks appeal to more than construction crews these days?

I just don't understand the "problem" that some seem to have with this ...

^ Did I say there was a problem with that statement? LMK if you find where I did.
