Very nice. Here is what lives in my console. The extra mag is for looks, that is a 14 round .380.
I like it!! The only reason I didn't go with a console mount is that I can literally have mine in my hand and ready to go in a fraction of a second, vs opening the lid to the console and working the pistol out of a holster. But the console is always a good location for all kinds of personal protection things. Well done.
Bought a cheap kydex left hand iwb holster, removed the clip, and drilled a couple holes in the door panel. Used a few bolts to secure it.. Easy acces if I need it but it is still hidden from outsiders.

Buy the right holster and you won’t go looking for someplace to stash the pistol while you’re driving. Find what’s comfortable to wear and be done with it. I prefer TT Gunleather to anything kydex and definitely would never buy a holster from any big chain hunting or sports store. I’m about 270 lbs and have driven cross country numerous times without ever even thinking about disarming...AFTER I bought a good holster. The cheap ones used to kill me.
Agree 100% with the good leather holster vs the Kydex....I use a Galco Combat Master to for everyday carry of a Glock 19 and have no trouble while driving...also, would recommend getting a good belt made for wear with a holster for everyday schedule....
Hmm....doesnt concealed carry mean, concealed carry on your person? as I am sure you know in our great state, no license needed to carry in your vehicle!
One of the biggest PITAs of carrying is that the average off the shelf holster can dig into your hip when you sit in the car. That leaves you with the choice of removing the firearm from your person, awkwardly twisting your shirt into a cushion between your skin and the holster, or driving uncomfortably. Many people asking for something like this aren't looking for the proverbial gun rack so much as they are a place to temporarily secure their firearm while they're in the vehicle, with the intention of putting it back in the holster as soon as they leave. This is a bigger deal for people who have to drive through unpleasant areas on a daily basis. The seat belt can make it difficult to draw, and locking the firearm in a glove box makes it completely useless for an unexpected incident.
