Here is a link(I think it will work)to the thread that got deleted. Even tho the nav mod don't work there still was a lot of good for scan info in it for the people who missed it.

When I did the navigation through the forscan method I had it. Thus morning going home it was gone. I'm still under my 6 months trial for Sirius so that can be it. I'm guessing maybe they are on to us. Lol. Wasn't their a way somebody found to enable it?

The current version of FORScan can't do it. I emailed the FORScan developers about it and they responded that a future version may have the ability. When I played around with my Hypertech Speedometer Calibrator, it seemed to me that on top of writing the values that it then performed some kind of initialization of the PCM as well.

At the risk of being preachy....a lot of the Body of Knowledge from the earlier thread is documented in my post #33 on this thread..... what to buy and why, PC vs Android, updating Sync FIRST, etc....

I chose not to copy it all AGAIN here, but Post 33 should save especially newbies a LOT of spins, money and frustration..... that is why we shared!! AZPLAT

But that's discourageing if yours was on hot and you still aren't happy..
Did you notice a big difference when you changed yours to the hot setting? Does yours still fluctuate in temperature?

So if I already have a tune, should I set it back to stock or keep it as is, before I change settings?

I'd just keep it as it is; you won't be editing anything in the PCM with FORScan. Before you make any changes with FORScan you should save the existing module's data anyways so you always have something to revert to.

Sorry , I don't get it.

Here's the numbers We used to disable the double honk

Ive already disabled the double honk , but want to understand it better. Can You use those numbers to explain it ?

07+26+41+02+00+01+00+01+01=73
07+26+41+02+00+00+00+01+01=72

If for example the disable honk was: 726-41-02 0007 0001 0179, see how the bold "7" changes the bold end to "79"?

These numbers are hexadecimal so it's not standard math.

The program I posted earlier that is a tool we use has a checksum calculator to make things easier: http://compulsivecode.com/Project_AsBuiltCompare.aspx
