Default [OBSOLETE] Configuring your truck for navigation and climate controls

Thanks for the input everyone. The procedure is no longer available for use.

In cooperation with several members here and in other forums and with approval of the MODS, we thought it would be of benefit to have a procedure that showed how to program your factory APIM for navigation and climate controls.

The file has been vetted by two members who have also done this procedure.

Hope this is easy enough to follow and is useful to the members.

Cheers

EDIT: http://forscan.org/forum/extlic.php You activate your extended/advanced license here once you get your login information from Forscan

The zip files are unique to your vehicle. So double check what you changed in the link.

Read the procedure. Only MFT Sync 2. It hasnt been tested with Sync 3. However, you can try it and let us know...

Default "Advanced License"????

Forscan must be installed and have an “advanced” license installed in order to program
the APIM. Refer to the Forscan forum for further information.

I have registered on the FORScan site/forum....getting approved.....but cannot find reference to the advanced license. I downloaded the Beta for Windows and will get whatever I need.....but will this stop me from programming APIM settings..... how do I get around it.....AZPLAT

Climate controls confirmed on 2015 XLT 302A with OBDLink MX using ForScan 2.3.1 on Windows 10 with the extended license.

The heated seats were already coded to show on mine originally, I only had to change the climate quadrant to ON. Followed the exact instructions, the hardest most time consuming part was adding my MX to by laptop bluetooth devices.

AZPlatinumEB - Along with what TexasFording posted, another resource is on the ForScan site, HowTo, #10. It takes you through a step by step, with a generating link, all very simple and straight forward.
